all teams, the P1 - P3 Micro's finish at Mid-day, P4 - P7 Mini's finish
at 12:15pm and the S1 - S2 Midi's finish at 12:30 pm

& match days.
Safety! Regardless if you have played
before, you must have attended training before you will be allowed to
take part in a match, you will be assessed by the coaches and only be
allowed to play once they are satisfied you
are ready. This normally takes between one and three training sessions.
During normal matches there is no
restriction on squad sizes, therefore everybody gets to play. The only
exception is where numbers are restricted at tournaments.
What to bring with you!
Gum Shield (Essential) Training top, Shorts
or trackie bottoms, Boots (football boots are ok but you will need rugby

The gum shield is the
most important piece of equipment a rugby player should
own. The gum shield not only protects your teeth and
gums, it can reduce damage around the jaw and your
chances of getting concussed. As every mouth is
different, so every gum shield should be moulded to fit
perfectly around the top half of a player's mouth. The
best way of doing this is to go and see your dentist,
who will make sure the shield is right for your mouth.
The other type of gum shield is the "boil in the bag"
type which is moulded using hot water. Put the warm
shield in your mouth and suck on it for roughly three
minutes until it has moulded to the shape of your upper
teeth. |
